A few words about me...
When people ask me what I want to be when I grow up, I always respond that a path in life doesn't have one peak. To say a single answer is to live an single life. To define my life as a career is to do my best to make my life boring. I'd like to think I do enough things with my life to make it interesting.
I used to play in a band. Used to. Maybe someday I'll pull together my scrappings and put on a show. I currently deal in lo-fidelity electronic stuff. Cheap FM synthesis Yamahas and gadgets I never paid more than ten dollars for. The kitsch appeals to me. The idea that something made twenty years ago still holds up in entertainment because aesthetic doesn't simply fade away. It's fascinating to me especially in the digital realm where there is actually a specifically measurable improvement in the medium.
My interests lead me to frequently have to build things myself. I've turned telephones into microphones. I've repaired both my own and other people's electric guitars. I once brought a thrift store guitar back to life with a simple amount of WD-40 and q-tips. I do know how to use a soldering iron, and I bring it out weekly to attach an electric thing here and there.
